Hello, I have received a few inquiries from former MilSite.com members about creating new accounts. The answer is yes, you must create a new account at MilitarySpot.net. MilitarySpot.net and MilSite.com were two separate sites. MilSite.com was hacked and they lost all their data. The owner of MilSite.com was nice enough to direct his traffic to MilitarySpot.net as he decided not to start over after losing his data. If you have any questions you can contact me directly at contact@militaryspot.com. Thanks, Tom, MilitarySpot.net
Welcome all former MilSite.com members. As you may know, MilSite.com was hacked and the owner has decided not to start over, as all data for the site was lost. I appreciate the owner of MilSite.com for redirecting traffic to this site - MilitarySpot.net. MilitarySpot.net uses the same application as the former MilSite, so you should have little trouble finding your way around. Soon we hope to have Video and Music sections where you can upload your own music and videos, rank them and comment on them. Also, you're just in time to participate in our recruiting promotion, where you can win a Video iPod! See: http://www.militaryspot.net/plugins/join.htm for more information. If you have any concerns or questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks, Tom, MilitarySpot.net
Hello, within the next week or two we hope to have a Music section and a Video section where members can upload their own music and videos. For the Music section, members will be able to upload, rate and comment on songs. And for videos, members will be able to upload, rate and comment as well. Thanks for using MilitarySpot.net, Tom

We recently received a Rico Tactics Tactical Illuminator for review at MilitarySpot.com. We really like it, but we're not sure when we would actually get to use it, considering we are civilians now. Anyway, if someone breaks in, the only light they will see is a muzzle flash!
We thought we would give the illuminator away to a trooper fighting the bad guys in Iraq or Afghanistan. If you are currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan (or will soon be serving) and can actually use this illuminator then send us a note either in this blog or at contact@militaryspot.com. We'll send it to the trooper we think has the greatest need for the illuminator. You will need a Picatinny rail on your weapon to attach the illuminator. Batteries included!
Product information at:
Rico Tactics B-9 Sabre Tactical Illuminator
Thanks, The MilitarySpot.net Team
Hello, we are updating MilitarySpot.net, but it will take a few days to work the bugs out. Of note, we intend to take the headers and footers off of members' profile pages and also to tame the header so it doesn't go crazy every time you load a new page. We won't rest until the site is the best it can be. Thanks, Tom MilitarySpot.net
