Parker Tide has a need for a UNIX systems specialist w/- (Active Secret Clearance) in Md.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
•Experienced in performing security readiness reviews for UNIX OS’s (HP, Solaris, and AIX).
•Past experience with installing, operating and maintaining UNIX systems.
•Experience and knowledge regarding UNIX scripting (Bourne, Posix, C and Korn shells as well as applying patches.
•Experience and knowledge with Raid Configurations, Send mail, DNS, NFS and NIS.
•Position requires between 60-70% travel.
•Creative and critical thinking along with analytical skills.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to work well with others as well as individually.
•Excellent ability to also have a flexible, team-oriented approach to work.
•Must have an Active DOD Secret Clearance.
•A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
