Hey, My name is Anthony. I am 15 not 22 like my profile says.
I just do that so I don’t have to keep my profile on private.
I am Vietnamese, French, and Italian.
I just recently graduated from 9th grade at San Mateo High School and still go there. For middle school I went to Borel, and Bayside for 6th and 7th. Yeah I hated It there.
As you can ‘see’ I am really into the United States Army. I want to join to pay for college and the experience. I always felt this way before the Army Strong commercials came out. Acutally before that I wanted to join United States Marine Corps. But I strayed away to Army instead since the Marines looked so tough and strong and I feel that the Army was more appropriate for me because I don’t have to be a tough Marine. But you never know, maybe I’ll join Marines instead. They are pretty much the same.
Serving in the Army to me is not for president Bush. But for myself and others in the Army. Also for this country too, Some people think I want to do it because I get to shoot people. But shooting people is not what I want to do only, I want to help people from other countries. Sure, western world killed many innocent people and some soldiers tortured Iraqis. What I think that they should be tied up on the Iraqi streets and we give the Iraqi people tomatoes and poo to throw at them . Not all soldiers are like them. The military is full of normal people, as with any person in the world. There will always be idiots in this world.
I think serving in Iraq or any other hotspot helping people is the right thing to do. Sure the U.S. government is leeching off the oil resources and whatnot. But not everyone has that intention. The Iraq and Afganistan goverment is better now because of us. In these places not to long ago woman and homosexuals along with other innocents were murdered. These things still go on, and at least where doing something about it. I respect the people of the middle east but not the bad people. Its kind of like repecting America but not the bad people. I think if we did not invade Iraq and Afganistan people say “Oh my god, Someone do something!” But now we are there, and people don’t like it. I respect peoples intelligent opinions on not going to Iraq and these people who make intelligent opionions are right sometimes. But I hate the idiots that just say “lol, soildiers are steall teh oil , they shud burn,”.
Okay political stuff aside, in the Army currently want to be 11b Infrantryman, maybe a rifleman. But defenilently not a support gunner, that looks heavy! As a infrantryman I hope to help stop the madness that goes on in this world. When its either insurgents or idiots in a flooded American suburb killing the good people. I am willing to stop them along side other soldiers. If my job consist of sitting at a base staring into the endless desert horizon for a few months then so be it. I’ll do that. If I am sitting there getting shelled by enemy mortars and my order is to not ever fire back. So be it, I’ll do that.
My favourite rifle is the HK416 and anything in the AR series.
Okay, Army stuffs aside.
What I like to do is play sports. Badminton, Airsofting, and Paintballing. I don’t usually have the opportunity to play them a lot, but I am really into it. I plan on getting a G&P M16 for airsofting. I also want to get a Tippman X7 or Rap4 T68, but I already have a Piranah R6 so I might just plop a scope on it since it doesn’t have iron sights. I haven’t gotten any thing for badminton yet. But I played it a lot at school, and I really like it.
What I like to do at home is play video games and go on Myspace, Facebook, and whatnot. The PC games I play is Battlefield 2, which is one of my favourite games. I also like to play other shooting games. I like Half Life 2 since its engine is so customizable and there are plenty of cool mods coming out for it.
